My path to founding Keystone Environmental wasn’t your typical one. Before I ever started this company, I spent years battling medical challenges that reshaped my life. At 11 years old I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) in my right femur which then spread to my lungs. Along my journey to remission I underwent 18 major surgeries—including total femur replacement, total knee replacement and several lung surgeries.  With more fractures, broken bones and setbacks than most people will see in a lifetime. Every time I got knocked down, I had to restart from zero, rebuild from nothing, developing a mentality that I will never quit.

Those experiences shaped the way I work. Precision, Discipline, Reliability and a love for what I do. When I say I hold myself to a high standard, it’s because I had to live by one long before I ever started a business. This mindset is poured directly into the foundation of keystone environmental

I built this company with that mindset of fast, meticulous, dependable work backed by the grit it took to get here. If I commit to a job, I follow through. That’s how I survived, and that’s how I operate today. If there's one thing that cancer has taught me is that life is short and I rather die knowing I tried my hardest every single day. Then to wake on my last day realizing I lived a mediocre life.
